The sun is shinning, the temperatures are creeping up, and we are all ready to get out, have fun, be social, and soak up the sun. Soaking up the sun is one of our favorite past times. So how does one soak up the sun like a lounging lovely?
Let the sun soak in, literally. Try to get 15 to 30 minutes of good old sun, without any sun block. According to Cleveland Clinic Mercy Hospital, "unfortunately, about 42% of the US population is vitamin D deficient with some populations having even higher levels of deficiency."
We have been stuck in doors for the past year plus, that with the combination of slathering on sun block we aren't getting much sun naturally to feed our bodies. So literally soak it up for 15 to 30 min if you can. But please make sure, when spending extended amounts of time in the sun to top off your look with sunblock and a cute wide brim hat to prevent burns and too much sun exposure.
